2Ramirez is just the kind of DH they are looking for and the rays are going to move him at some point before OT. It only costs them two 21 year olds in the low minors. Sim, a potential power hitting CO'IF'er and Yan, a hard throwing RH arm.
Disagree. Ramirez has a 123 wRC+ over the last 2 years. JD Martinez has a 126, Vladito has a 125, and Santander has a 121. He's about as good of a fielder has all of them, and a much better baserunner than 2 of them. Ramirez will also make less than half of any of them. If the Rays sell Harold, it's because someone has paid waaaay more than the $1.5MM excess value alotted here
