6Agree that the Reds could use India to acquire an MLB or near MLB catcher. I love Quero but not sure I would give up Balcazar.
Why Quero? Why not a better defensive catcher with just as much or better offensive projection with the same value: Kyle Teel?
Kyle Teel or Cal Raleigh would be great for the Reds. Like Kirk with Toronto as well.
4 position players (switch-hitters) is as Bell-proof a lineup as is humanly possible.
Quero is not a good defensive catcher. A position that demands defense. Your argument about being a 4th switch hitter is has no merit.
Slow winter day. A year from now when Edwin Arroyo is poised to take over as everyday switch-hitting ss, along side switch-hitters EDLC and Jeimer Candelario- it would be nice to promote Edgar Quero as switch hitting catcher and make it a quartet (even if it cost Balcazar).
