1Yankees get out of DJ's contract long term, Padres can play him at 1b/3b - and move Crone back. Yankee's also get an elite war player. For the padres trouble they get another young arm with potential from the yankees. They also get the 3rd or 4th best Yankee's outfield prospect, which with the players in front of him, he sort of needs to be moved anyways.
