5I am delusional. This trade is the kind if the Giants say “Hey, Let’s blow it up cause we are no better than the Rockies.” Giants get rid of their ace and closer to get the OF of the future with Carter and Langford to pair with J H Lee. Dunning would be a decent replacement for Webb. Arias to be backup SS for Luciano. This is lunacy.
Texas would hang up the phone so fast. Carter and Langford are their future. They certainly are not trading both of them.
Your name is appropriate because this is a garbage deal for Cleveland. You're basically using Cleveland to get what you want in SF and satisfying Texas. You can kick rocks and clearly you put no thought into what Cleveland might need.
I love this delusional approach, build your team around young power bats, go out and buy pitching after your line up is set.
One issue! Arias isn't going to be available in Cleveland for two veteran OFs like that... Cleveland would say no since they really don't want the return you have here for their projected Starting SS...
