So Crone plays 1st, and Wade to the OF? Guess it would be worth nabbing Iriarte, but shifting Lamonte again seems like less than best practice.

I don’t think the Padres would have any interest in moving Iriarte in this deal. And, I think if the Padres were to shop Iriarte he’d bring back much more then the 10.6 value he is showing here on his own. And certainly the Padres wouldn’t attach him to Cronenworth and his under water contract unless they were in dire straights and having to slash payroll. I don’t think the Padres are in that spot.
