9Replace Woo with Miller and I'll change my mind.
From what I have read, the idea behind trading Clase was to add offense particularly to the major league club. Neither Ford nor Clase are close to being ready. That is where I have a problem with this.
It's kind of easy to understand Cleveland needs a big bat and that's what they want to acquire... No one is even trying to find that for Cleveland...

No.. Woo's release and motion are about perfect.. His release point on all his pitches are virtually equal.. to the point where the batter has NO idea what is coming.. IDK what the stats show.. but Woo is going to miss a LOT more bats and will do so effortlessly.. Miller is good.. Woo is better..
I think after the trade of SP Ray to the SF Giants the Mariners are done moving on from any pitching of significance, Kirby, Gilbert, Woo, Miller, Castillo aren’t being moved and, I think, are unavailable to trade for. And I’m surprised that we are still seeing so many post with any of them involved.
It has been pretty obvious that Cleveland has listened on Naylor, yet are not likely to trade him, yet you continue to post trades for him. At least the Mariners have been shopping their pitchers.
@Ms. Dajuba: yes.. the Mariners would be getting a bit "thin" in the SP area if Woo were to be moved without an adequate replacement.. Perhaps restating the deal with Mick Abel going to the Mariners while Crawford and Lazaro Montes going to the Guardians would be more satisfactory to both the Mariners (they could plug Abel directly into their starting rotation) while the Guardians would successfully back fill their prospect coffers with three highly desired kids (Crawford, Montes and Ford) along with Woo and Clase?.. As far as the Naylor comment.. he's not included in this deal..
My comment on Naylor was related to Ms Dajuba's previous comment, not about your trade.
