To be frank, I don't see why the Angels would trade Detmers. Ward and Detmers for Bieber and Clase wouldn't be enough. Angels would have to give up more to get this deal done...
As a Guardian fan I would not deal Detmers. It would be somewhat like Cleveland trading Bibee or Williams. If the Angels make this offer then Cleveland should jump all over it IMO.

If they're trading Ward I'd guess they're going after a bat in FA, so it would make sense. However they have no reason to trade Detmers and the return is mediocre. I agree.
