5In my baseball twisted mind, this is how the trade talks went. Dodgers call Milwaukee and ask, is Williams and Adames available. Brewers say. Well, if you want Adames, Lux has to be part of the deal, and we want Sheehan. Whoa, say the Dodgers, if you're taking Sheehan, we want Burnes, assuming we have some assurance he'll extend his contract with us. Whoa, say the Brewers, then we need more pitching in return. Brewers say we want Frasso and Feyereisen if he passes his physical. Deal or No Deal?
Maybe replace one of the other pitchers include Vargas and it’s a fair deal.
Thanks for your responses. I think the Brewers are going to keep Burnes and Adames, at least until the trade deadline. There have been many trade proposals between the two teams on this site and I was trying to come up with a trade that would possibly move the Brewers to trade them now. I can certainly understand the hesitation by the Dodgers to make the trade.
Dodgers say absolutely no, Brewers obviously do the deal
I think there could be a framework for a deal here that doesn't include Sheehan. Perhaps replacing him with Stone and Grove. That could be agreeable from the Dodgers side.
