1This would be an overpay by the M’s. Adding Cease only makes sense as a tool to reroute one of Castillo, Gilbert, Woo or Miller to another team for a bat. I can’t imagine that we’d give up our #2 prospect and the extra years of control just to upgrade our #4 starter. Instead, I think the trade is Ford + two prospects like Arroyo and Clase.
