Toronto gets a bounce back candidate bullpen arm who had good peripherals, but got unlucky leading to bad results. Sox need a second baseman, preferably a lefty who can platoon with one of their righty internal options. Toronto has a surplus of second baseman, Biggio being one of them. He's been pretty bad for 2 years now and has little value, but he played great defense last year and still walks a good amount, two things the Sox could use. Possible bounce back candidate in a new situation and chance to play everyday, or at least most of the time. Sox pay half Kelly's $9M.
