1Blue Jay fans must have short memories. Back in April of 2022, Cleveland was negotiating an extension with Ramirez while having trade talks with San Diego and Toronto. Ramirez told his agent that he wanted to finish his career in Cleveland and get a deal done which is what happened. He signed a very team friendly deal insisting on a no trade clause. He is not available. As far as this proposal, this package does little to help the Guardians. Three more middle infielders are the last thing that the Guardians need. It also makes no sense for the Guardians to trade Ramirez when they play in a very winnable division.
