1Trading Castillo would require a significant overpay by the other team. An Ace for just over $20M a year is a hell of a deal (plus the contract has TJ protection through a cheap option that becomes available) given the going rate seems to be $30M+. I don’t think Steer for Castillo straight up would get it done. Change it to one of Noelvi Marte or Matt McClain and 1-for-1 becomes more realistic (and even then would be hard to swallow as an M’s fan).
