3This is a hard one. I am really concerned about Shane's injurie last year. Elbow and forearm. the risk is very high (for both teams)
I like it. Lyon broke out after a few injury-plagued seasons in the minors, but there's no clear route for him to make it to the current Reds rotation. Moving him and a draft pick and getting back a Cy Young winner who would consider signing an extension is a chance I'd be willing to take as a Reds fan. Not giving up a ton of big time prospect capital, and get back a guy who's shown the talent to be elite. Only concern would be keeping him healthy for a full year or more.
Cleveland isn't giving up Bieber for such a poor return let alone adding Freeman. Gotta love Reds' fans who can't do anything but talk about Bieber's risk, but yet they keep posting trades with him going to Cinncy.
