2Santa left the Brewes a huge lump of coal in this trade. Milwaukee doesn't want Grissom in a trade for pitching. For pitching, Milwaukee gets two maybes who are way too far away to be of any help.
Waldrop lit up AA last year, is a year away. Grissom is has a MLB Avg. bat at minimum and good backup plan if Addams won't resign. Hackenburg looks like a wildcard but pitched well in debut. I'm with you it's not overwhelming but dismissing it as silly for a 1 year left Burns is also silly!
