2Brewers refuse right away. Houck is a pen long man and over rated. Walter was terrible in AAA and worse in the big leagues. Milwaukee wouldn't want him. With almost no pitching returning, the deal is dead on arrival. Lugo is a lottery ticket. Like Boston, the Brewers wouldn't know what to do with Yorke because his glove is so weak.
There is a reason Boston is trying to dump Houck, he is an emergency starter/long reliever. Milwaukee has enough of his type. Mata has way too much to prove given his showings in AAA last year. The pitching coming back to the Brewers isn't anyone they would consider in a trade like this.
