3Jose Ramirez has a no trade clause that he insisted on when signing his very team friendly contract extension. He is not available, and Cleveland would not trade him anyway.
TA As I’ve tried to explain to you before, this is fantasy. Everyone is, or should be, theoretically available. Nolan Arenado had a full No-trade clause and was traded to Cardinals. If he can be traded, so can Ramirez. If the Braves offered them Acura for Ramirez, they would trade him in a heartbeat. Everyone is available at the right price. So, please stop speaking categorically for the Guardians, as if you know something, because obviously you don’t.
Benjo, I've tried to explain to you and others that Jose Ramirez is not your average player. Money is what drives most players, but not Ramirez. Cleveland was close to a Ramirez trade two seasons ago when talking with the Padres and Blue Jays. Ramirez contacted his agent and stated I want to stay in Cleveland for my career. Get a deal done which they did. Ramirez signed a very team friendly contract extension getting the no trade clause. Ramirez wanted to stay in Cleveland, and he took millions less to stay there. He is not leaving Cleveland hence my he is not available comment. If you are comparing this proposal to Acuna, then you know very little about baseball Ramirez says no to this deal due to his no trade clause. Cleveland says no to this deal because it makes no sense for them. Deal with it. Benjo, you are far from an expert on Ramirez, the Guardians, or baseball so stop thinking that you know all.
