2Teams are asking about Josh Naylor, but Cleveland is not shopping him and is not trading him. This offer would not change their minds. Cleveland does not need two more middle infielders. Cleveland's beat writer for MLB.com Mandy Bell gave the odds of a Naylor trade at 5%. He will be a Cleveland Guardian in 2024.
This doesn't address Cleveland's needs at all. Cleveland has five guys all competing to play shortstop and adding more middle infielders is not the solution.
