2Marlins get an impact bat who lights up Miami and their fans. Rays get a another potentila solid arm for their rotation along with a OF prospect of the future and a 24 year old RH'er starter in Meyer who continues his development as a pitcher after a year off from TJS.
I don’t have much interest in the Marlins’ position players, but a trade built around Cabrera and Meyer gets my attention.
