2White Sox are really bad. They’re not going to want Matz while they’re rebuilding. Drop Matz and the cash and add like Burleson and Hjerpe
I’d agree but the rotation is a black hole without Cease so they may see some appeal to having an MLB arm to backfill for pretty cheap (about $9m AAV here). Burleson is a poor fit with the White Sox since he’s a poor outfielder but has some value as a 1B/DH, but would conflict with Vaughn in Chicago.
