4SMH... The odds of Gilbert getting traded are very low. He's just too expensive. The odds of him getting traded to the Rays are much lower. Rays don't overpay (or pay up for expensive players).
Logan Gilbert is projected to earn $5 million next year in the first of four arbitration seasons. Randy Arozarena is projected to earn $9 million in the second of four arbitration seasons while Drew Rasmussen is projected to earn $2.2 million in the first of three arbitration (while missing most the 2024 season following surgery).
I think he was meaning in trade cost not actual money.
