Why can't Blue Jay fans understand that Jose Ramirez has a no trade clause and is not going to wave it. Secondly, Cleveland has no reason to trade him when they play in a very winnable division. Thirdly, they certainly are not going to undersell his value. This trade does little to address needs that the Guardians have. Cleveland has no need for Kirk or Martinez.

I hundred percent agree they don’t have to trade him nor does he have to agree to it. The only reason I proposed this is because of the rumours that Cleveland not having enough money to pay the freight.

Why don't you deal with facts instead of Rumors. They are already inside the financial safety zone which is why they picked up Barlow's $7.2M and signed Hedges to a $4M deal. What part of no trade clause don't you people understand. Even if they were to trade him after Jose agreed to be traded, do you think they're dumb enough to take such a lowball offer or do you struggle with math? Good Lord! I want to be nice and enjoy talking fair ideas, but this is just stupid. Edited to add that Cleveland does not want Kirk's fat ass and I doubt anyone else does either. He's eating his way out of C and onto a beer league softball team. You wonderful Blue Jays' fans are stuck with Oompa Loompa. You might as well call the Mets and trade for Danny "Burgers" too.

It has been reported that the Guardian payroll will remain at 2023 levels. Notice that no cuts are being proposed so you can ignore all of the uneducated rumors floating around.
