Comments
1Casas and Thomas were both top 50 prospects heading into the 2022 season so I think their value is comparable. Red Sox get an everyday OF which they desperately need, Diamondbacks get an everyday 1B in exchange for one of their surplus outfielders. They can either move Christian Walker to DH or move on from him altogether. A few other guys thrown in as well for the Red Sox just to even out the valuation, but the real trade is Thomas for Casas.
