Rays aren't going to be interested in Ritchie, particularly at more than half the return for Glasnow. Ritchie will effectively miss 2 full years of his minor league career rehabbing from TJS, and he won't have returned to pitching at the time of this trade. Rays aren't going to take on that risk. Replace Ritchie with Kuehler and Schwellenbach and the Rays say yes.
