Blockbuster trade for both teams. Twins deal Julien 2B, Kepler RF and a 21 year old pitching prospect, Marco Raya to Seattle. Twins acquire two, young, controllable pitchers to fill rotation spots needed with Sonny Gray (3 yrs $75 million-Cardinals) and Kenta Maeda (2-years $24 million-Tigers). Twins also move $10 million off the books with Kepler. Seattle gets an on-base machine to play 2B in Julien who is controllable for the next 5-years. They add a solid RF in Kepler and replenish their young pitching with Raya. The rumor is Yamamoto wants to sign with Seattle. This trade opens a rotation spot for him to slot in with Castillo, Kirby, Gilbert and Ray. Seattle improves their offense and now boasts a potential all time great rotation. The Twins now have a staff of Lopez, Miller, Woo, Ryan and Ober. Everyone but Lopez is very affordable and the Twins have a very good rotation for at least the next 5 years. Wallner takes Kepler's place in RF at the major league minimum salary. The Twins now possibly hang onto Polanco, at least until the trade deadline and await the imminent promotion of Brooks Lee to take over 2B.
