1I doubt that the blue jays would actually be motivated to trade away Bichette, despite the recent reports, but this is what their return may look like, should they deal him this winter. Toronto gets a trio of mlb-ready prospects to fill needed holes in the 5 spot of their rotation (he’ll compete with Kikuchi), a young bullpen piece with a good selection, and a five-tool outfielder, including solid defense. They also get the prospect of former top prospect, Nick Madrigal. All he may need is a change of scenery where he will need to compete with Orelvis for starting time. Regardless, he isn’t the key part of the deal so it wouldn’t be much for him to not work out.
