4Looking for spots that Harold Ramirez could land - the Brewers make sense after non-tendering Tellez and trading Canha to the Tigers. H-Ram fills a bat-focused 1B/OF/DH role at a palatable contract (estimated $4.4 million) and hits lefties very well. The Rays cut some salary and can fill Harold's spot internally with some combination of Yandy, Aranda, Mead, others and keep building their lower level pitching depth.
Rays would probably prefer someone closer to the Majors but this trade might work too.
I think the Brewers like Knoth too much to do that, I personally do as well. Ramirez does fill a role for this year and maybe 2025, but long term? I don't know about that
Knoth is an amazing pitching prospect, not "lower level pitching depth"
