5In the "it's only money" vein of thinking. The Braves get Burnes for obvious reasons, and have Woodruff included to bring down the overall trade package. They tender Woodruff a contract hoping that he's ready for the playoff push, then are able to offer QO as he heads to FA. The Brewers give up Burnes for Elder, which isn't even close to a valuable slot, but . . .. yeah, i can't see why they'd do this trade.
I don't see any way in the world why Milwaukee would give up Burnes for Elder. Something happened to Elder after the break and the Braves can't figure it out. The Brewers would never take on that risk. Plus Milwaukee would never include Woodruff in any trade for a negative value when they could just non-tender him.
I rather puke than agree to that the brew crew is giving up there two aces for elder!!!!?
I agree with Pattie Mac on that one
Pattie maaac issss theeee best
