I am a die hard Giants fan, and I would much rather grab a starter or 2 in free agency rather than have to trade for one. But I would not complain if Zaidi traded for Glasnow! I think the package back is very fair, though it would hurt to give away Whiz. The Rays would get Whisenhunt, who in my opinion is bordering top 35 prospect in all of baseball. He has one of the filthiest pitches by all accounts in the minors, a deadly 70 grade changeup. He will develop into a high end starter. Vaun Brown is on the older side but should be in AAA next year and might be the best athlete in the sf system (apologies to reggie crawford, grant mccray, and bryce eldridge). He has top notch speed, very good power, and a good arm. He just didn't stay healthy last year and has always had a concerning strikeout rate. Rays might love the potential in this deal
