3Hey ItchyBob! You've got another rad trade idea that involves the Braves. Tarik was terrific for the Tigers in 2023. If he'd made more starts I'm sure there'd be a whole lot of comparisons between him and Spencer Strider. With both the White Sox and Twins decreasing their payroll in 2024 maybe it's time for the Tigers to strike and get some better players. They have some good young talent and a relatively small amount of future payroll commitments. Grissom might just be a good fit for the Tigers. centerwingpolitics posted a similar trade and I like that one too.
Yeah, I feel like between Cease and Skubal, the Braves will make a hard push for one of those controllable SPs. Tigers and Sox NEED to trade those two away and get future assets. They won’t compete during their minimal remaining team control. The trick is who will offer a better package than the Braves? Most teams CAN offer better packages, but will they. What is desired, quality or quantity?
Who wants elder and Grissom and they are giving up their ace I think that skubal could be a better fit with the marlins
