Comments
2Milwaukee doesn't want a catcher as the major part of a trade for Burnes. They have Contreras for 4 more years and Quero among others coming up. Povich and Bright aren't anywhere close to enough pitching for the Brewers' needs when they trade Burnes.
I’ve read a bit about Basallo being more of a first base prospect eventually whose bat will play regardless. I don’t believe that Burnes is the only trade they make and can get immediate pitching help in a different trade.
