I'd like to change my mind. I think I would prefer to see the Braves decline Eddie Rosario and replace him with Alex Verdugo if it's going to be for this trade package. It didn't look good for Michael Soroka's 2023 comeback, maybe it will in Spring Training. Let's see if the Braves go to Arbitration with him. I can't imagine him getting paid close to $3MM. Brooks Wilson's listed as a SP and I think that's an error because according to Fangraphs, he hasn't started a game since 2019. He's thrown less than a dozen innings over the past two years. He's just not about 1/2 the value of Verdugo. The trade's a fun example of a fleecing of the Sox.
