I do doubt the cash-strapped A’s - the team that gave us “Moneyball” as a method of finding undervalued players - are willing to take on the Mike Trout’s 430mill contract.

Yeah probably. But I would hope even the A's could scrounge up the cash if they had Mike Trout on a team friendly contract.

Agreed. It just shows how much Trout is worth as a ball player even with the most expensive contract in history
