4The Cardinals can keep Tyler O'Neil, his bad back, and injury history. Edman also does not fill a need for Cleveland. Cleveland does not need a middle infielder and I don't consider Edman a full time outfielder.
I think almost all Guardians fans agree with JMF... O'Neill isn't even a want, they don't even like the guy. I doubt Cleveland would offer more than Jose Tena for O'Neill and Tena is only like a 4 value... Edman is a nice player at the end of the day, but Cleveland has a whole bunch of guys who can equal his production on paper coming through the system. His really only worth 10-15 value to Cleveland so why make him a main piece? Plus De Los Santos has been one of Cleveland’s best bullpen arms, they wouldn't trade him for that value. I also do believe, they wont trade Straw unless he's apart of a package for an All-Star, and this isn't that type of package. They are way to high on him
De Los Santos' value being .2 is not right, not even close. Someone may want to look into that. Cleveland has no need for either of Edman or O'Neill. Hell, O'Neill can't even stay on the field and he hits FA just when Cleveland will be ready to actually compete in the postseason.
So does this sight have De Los Santos confused with someone else? He's signed long term, inexpensive and incredibly effective which his numbers prove. Upper 90's FB and filthy slider to go along with excellent control. He's been phenomenal.
