3Once again, the pitching coming back to Milwaukee is far, far to weak for the Brewers to even consider this.
The great fun of this site is I get to play a fantasy Matt Arnold. I always explain my reasoning and I really enjoy seeing what others would do. With this trade I don't know why Milwaukee would want Dominguez. They have Yelich/Taylor/Frelick/Wiemer/Chourio and could keep Mitchell. Sure Milwaukee, like just about any other team, would like to have Volpe, but they can't give away Burnes to get him. The Brewers simply don't have is any replacement for Burnes. Milwaukee relies on pitching to win games more than almost anybody else in MLB. Last year they had a lot of injuries to their starters and had to use anybody available to fill in. Their record plummeted and they missed the playoffs because of it. The Brewers aren't like the Yankees. They don't have the budget to just go out and buy guys. Starting pitching is very expensive and by the looks of the crazy contracts being handed out, it's getting worse. That's why they have to get good, MLB ready pitching in any trade for Burnes or Woodruff.
jmont1, I’ve seen you on a lot of comments for brewer trade ideas and you seem very sure of yourself. Are you Matt Arnold? I sure hope you’re not running the team if you think the brewers wouldn’t even consider a return that includes Volpe and Dominguez.
