11Reports have the Pirates waiting a top pitching prospect in any Reynolds trade which the Yankees do not have.
You're an idiot. There's no talking to you.
Stoop to name calling shows your lack of class. If you're happy with spare parts, go for it. You are too used to bad baseball. We don't have to agree. Apparently, you are the one that can't be talked to. Merry Christmas!
You earned it. I explained the situation that I was playing out in the trade. Unfortunately, you were unable to comprehend it.
You earned a last place team. Trading your best trade piece for one solid outfield prospect, bullpen help and spare parts. If you are happy with that so, be it. Your Texas trade makes much more sense to me as having value and providing what the Pirates have reportedly wanted with Leiter. Your Yankee trade just helps the Yankees get better in my opinion.
You missed the point of this trade. I don't want them to trade Reynolds at all and especially to the Yankees because they don't have exactly what we need. However, in the event that they do trade Reynolds to the Yankees, that's what I would like to see in return.
OK. You also missed what I said that the Yankees would have to get a third team into the trade to get the Pirates what they want. It is my opinion that the Pirates should hold on to him unless they get exactly what they want. They don't have to settle for less which is what this trade Yankee package is. Smart small market teams shouldn't settle.
That's what Schmidt and Loiasiga are for. Sometimes you have to use your head over listening to reports s.
Gil, Warren, Schmidt and Loiasiga are not TOP pitching prospects. Sometimes you have to use your head and look at your assets properly without your Yankee glasses on. Remember that both teams' needs must be met for any trade to happen. The Yankees are likely going to need a third team involved to get Reynolds. I am not a Pirate or Yankee fan, so I am commenting objectively.
Lol, exactly. You're not a Pirates fan. I am. I know what they need. If they HAVE to trade with the Yankees, these are the players that I would want back. They do have two stud outfield prospects, which we can use. Schmidt and Loiasiga would be immediate upgrades to our atrocious bullpen who are still relatively young. Warren and Gil have shown flashes of big league stuff. I would rather we resign Reynolds but if we had to trade him, I would rather them make a deal with the Rangers for Leiter, Winn, Taveras, Carter and Harris, but the rumor was the Yankees.
The rumor also included a desire for a top pitching prospect. You can't ignore the other part of the rumor. If you want to settle for spare parts, so be it. No wonder the Pirates have been bad.
