1Eduardo Rodriguez could miss multiple months due to the ruptured pulley in his left index finger. The Tigers aren't yet saying that, but The Athletic's Cody Stavenhagen delivered a excellent rundown of the injury, interviewing a hand surgeon who estimated that it could take 6-8 weeks before a pitcher with such an injury could resume high-intensity throwing and pointing out that Adam Wainwright missed 10 weeks with a similar injury in 2008. Pulley issues also ended Taylor Rogers' season in 2021 and have played a big role in Randy Dobnak's downfall. It definitely doesn't seem like something Rodriguez should try to rush.
