2The lack of pitching returning to Milwaukee kill this deal before it starts. The Brewers wouldn't want Slater with his injury history. They have Contreras for 5 years so they wouldn't need Bart. They wouldn't want another prospect OF because they are loaded with prospect OFs. Luciano is hitting .191 at AA. The entire package is far too weak for the Brewers to even consider trading Burnes.
I don't think this is enough for Burnes, but the comments about Luciano based solely on his batting average shows a rather juvenile understanding of baseball stats, and a lack of understanding of the circumstances. First, Luciano's batting average isn't all that telling. He has a .203 BABIP, and it should speak volumes that a player with a .202 BABIP still has a 102 wRC+, especially in the minors. As his BABIP regresses to the mean, his batting average and OBP will go with it. He's been dealing with back issues for a while, which is why I don't think he's the prospect value he used to have, but it also explains his numbers. He's looked excellent the past few games. He's 7-for-20 over his last five games with 3 HR and 5 walks to just 3 strikeouts. Again, I don't think this package is enough for Milwaukee, but you're misrepresenting Luciano pretty severely here.
