Alright I doubt a trade occurs but if Soto were to be traded I think the Mets are a likley spot and the reason I came up with this package is because the Padres will still be competing and getting Canha would be nice to keep them in the race and then they get a lot of younger guys that seem promising like Vientos and Williams and then you got Vasil who is okay but has some decent stuff and then Parada is the big piece and the reason the Mets might part ways is because Francisco Alvarez seems to be there future at the catcher spot and he can paly the outfield but you pick Soto everyday of the week and maybe you can made Mcneil instead of Canha but the trade won't be validated but anyways Canha is a flexible guy with his deal as he has a club option next year and you can let him go or you can trade him in next years deadline or re-sign him if he does but Parada is the big piece due to his postion as the Padres don't have the Catcher and I know Salas is coming but he is 17 and Parada would be a nice player as he can be your outfield after Salas comes in and can help and then get moved to the outfield if needed.
