2Orioles go all in. Trade a couple of high tier prospects who are blocked by even better prospects for burnes. Brewers get some major farm contributers who are relatively close to the majors and could maybe flip santander or just keep the bat.
This deal dies well before it gets started with the lack of pitching returning to Milwaukee. The Brewers want MLB ready pitching, not major farm contributors in any trade for Burnes. Here they get only a one pitcher who is barely rated above a lottery ticket. The very last thing the Brewers would want is another prospect OF. Santander is welcomed, but the rest of the proposal is far too weak.
