1Subtract at least 10 mil from the deal, and this is what it should look like. Bellinger is worth 4-5 due to the Cubs ability to slap a QO on him, Hendricks has returned to form and is worth 3-4 himself. His pitch to contact stuff would work well in NY, he is doing great vs. LH hitters (negating Yankee stadium hitter bias), has pitched in big games (started WS game 7), and has a club option for '24. The small overpay residual is due to deadline addition costs. If I were in Cubs management, I would also consider taking Torres back, if Morel can be moved around as a utility guy.
