Super interesting trade. I have to say yes as a Cubs fan, because I believe in going for it, if you have a chance. I think Verlander and Alonso get them to the postseason. With that said, I really hate to give up Caissie. He's my #3 prospect after PCA and Horton. Just ahead of Triantos. McGeary has Alonso power. Wesneski shows promise, but he is at an age where he needs to produce. Would be a great deal for both teams, imo. I don't understand all the down votes.
