So many things wrong with this proposal from the Guardian perspective. First, Ramirez has a NO TRADE CLAUSE. Morosi knows this, but he is a clown just trying for clicks. Second, Cleveland strength is young pitching and their weakness is offense, especially in the outfield so why would they trade offense for more pitching?

First off, I really do hope this was more a fun/joke post... Secondly, JRam as a no trade clause in his contract, so that negates the trade... Thirdly, I have to agree with the other poster, Cleveland is in the same boat as Seattle, they need more hitting...

Coach, Jon Morosi was interviewed in Seattle and suggested that Seattle should call Cleveland and go after Jose. I am sure that is where this idea comes from. It was Morosi spewing nonsense.

If Seattle wants a deal with Bieber, Ramirez and Kwan in it then their part of the package starts with Rodriguez and Kirby and goes from there. If that's too much then go about your business because Cleveland isn't interested in making trades that hurt their chances of winning. Folks need to come to the realization that Cleveland will never deal Bieber for negative value. The idea is just nonsensical. A healthy Bieber(he is now) has way too much field value for this nonsense, but clearly he is not worth near what he was last season at this time.
