Nick Anderson was a Ray until this past year, and I don't think a reunion is in either party's best interest. Pretty sure the cash in this deal violates league rules because there is no contract being assumed with $25MM owed on it.
Yeah, the Braves would need to send some higher-value prospects. Adding A.J. Smith-Shawver to the deal would cut the cash down to $5M, but I'm not sure the Braves will want to do that to upgrade in an area that's a need, but not the most urgent need.
