You're asking the Rays, a team known for passing up all but the best trades, to willingly trade (1) a TOR pitching prospect who is currently winding down his rehab from TJS and who has only 20% of the trade value he had pre-injury (ie: he'd be traded at absolute lowest trade value), (2) the Rays 2022 first round draft pick who is having a break out year and who has nowhere near the value he'll have later in his development (ie: another trade at near rock bottom trade value), and (3) arguably their best prospect, who is tearing up AAA right now (ie: close to fully valued for a minor leaguer - he was dinged for injury earlier this year), for... 2.5 years of a starting pitcher who is probably just a #3 arm (notwithstanding his very good 2023 season). I mean, the Rays might have interest in Keller and might be willing to pay $50MM in value for him (unlikely though), but they aren't going to trade a package like this for him. Sorry.

You're not in touch with reality if that's your takeaway. The Pirates actively get worse with a trade like this, and they LOSE value.
