2This trade is too obvious not to happen. Grissom is blocked, but is the young controllable 2B the mariners need, and sewald helps the braves both this year and next year.
I like how the Mariners and Braves could have matched up here. I think the Braves could still use a solid reliever and Sewald was on my short list. I figured the M's needed a 2B and Vaughn Grissom fits there for me. Seattle got a couple of position guys back and It'll be interesting to see how they progress. Maybe it's the better move for Seattle to trade for a group of guys with potential rather than just one.
