1Rays may have a busy offseason, but McClanny and Paredes are unlikely to be moved, particularly McClanny (at this valuation). There's zero chance of the Rays trading a potential CY winning pitcher for the pocket lint trade value he has on BTV. As for the trade return, Thomas isn't going to interest the Rays. He has a well below average bat, hitting in the low 70 wRC+ range each of his first two years in the Majors, and his CF defense, while very good, isn't better than the Rays' own Jose Siri. Rays say no.
