1This is a bit of a stretch, but Santander is such a good fit for Yankee Stadium. Yankees get Anthony Santander to play outfield/DH for 2024. Santander pulls so many fly balls to right field and would add a huge impact left handed bat to the Yankees lineup. Orioles get Randy Vasquez for rortation depth, Jonathan Loaisiga to be a setup man for Yennier Cano. Felix Bautista is going to miss all of 2024, so adding Loaisiga helps their bullpen significantly. Santander is going to make about 12.7m in arbitration next year, so trading him allows them to cut salary and opens the door for outfield prospects Coswer and Kjerstad to start. Randy Vasquez pitched very well in 2023 and could help the Orioles rotation while making league minimum. This trade likely isn't happening, I don't see the Orioles trading Santander within the division.
