I like the trade for both teams, but I think it works better with Ramirez than Aranda, which would allow the Rays to keep Adam. For Brewers fans, Ramirez would be a huge get for your team, which produced a league worst 79 wRC+ from the DH position in 2023. Ramirez would dramatically improve upon that performance with a 128 wRC+.
Now that you mention it I agree. Rays can move Ramirez's salary and Brewers get a legitimate proven DH where rays probably make '24 a retool year anyways and give Aranda the dh slot at least vs righties. Wonder how the numbers would look in that trade.
