5For Lindor Braves need to give up Swanson, Pache/Waters, Riley, plus 2 top 5 prospect Pitchers. That's what Indians r gonna ask for or equivalent from any other team.
Ryan V., If Cleveland decides to trade Lindor, it will be for a package that meets their needs and nothing less. Inciarte is not needed and will not be in any trade. Contreras and Wright, both good prospects, don't meet the current needs of the Indians. I don't see a trade happening between the two teams.
Wright is a current need. He is instantly your best pitching prospect. By far. HE would also be your #1 overall prospect in your system. Contreras might not be a need, but you can NEVER have too many catching prospects with the hit rate on them. And they are very valuable for trade pieces as well. You can swap Inciarte with a prospect. But I disagree with the Indians not needing Wright.
Ryan, Cleveland has Shane Bieber, Mike Clevinger, Corey Kluber, Carlos Carrasco, Aaron Civale, and Zach Plesac for 5 spots so where does Wright fit a current need which is what I stated. A Lindor trade must help in 2020, as well as beyond, and your trade does not do that. Wright and Contreras could be pieces if the Indians were rebuilding, but the Indians are not rebuilding. Also, MLB.com has Kyle Wright #35 and Indian Prospect Nolan Jones #37 so if two places is BY FAR then you are just over valuing Braves. No matter how much you argue, Wright can not lead a trade package for Francisco Lindor. The Indians would say no thank you and move on. For a trade to happen, the needs of both teams need to be met. Your proposal does not come close to helping meet the needs of the Cleveland Indians.
They won't get that. They can ask, but they won't get that. The Braves probably hang up right after that ask without saying a word.
