The Astros need a lefty reliever and they don't get much better than Hader. The Brewers need young controllable pitchers Urquidy and James, need a third baseman, Toro and need a couple of lottery tickets to make it interesting. Tell me who says no, not just a thumbs up or down.

I would imagine the Brewers want more than this. They are looking for an overpay to pry Hader away. It's a solid offer (depending on how the Brewers view the upside of a guy like Jones), but they may want a more sure centerpiece.

Spikes

I think this is a well thought out trade proposal. As Everaj36 said, it really depends on how the Brewers value Jones and the other young players. Do the Brewers think enough of Toro to count on him as there 3B in 2020 and beyond. James and Urquidy seem to be good young pitchers. I think the Brewers say yes if they believe in the future of the young players. Will the Astro be willing to give up James and Urquidy or will they try to talk the Brewers into another player?

This one is quite realistic, as Stearns is looking for Major League ready and controllable talent. Personally I love Toro, but wouldn't plant him at 3rd, he'd be a super utility guy with Urias or someone else starting at 3rd.
